Welcome to The View from the Rainbow City

Buffalo got the name “Rainbow City” at the 1901 Pan-American Exposition, when the fairgrounds were lit up in color. More than a century later, we think the name fits better than ever.

This is the new blog of the Stonewall Democrats of Western New York. We’ll use it for news from our club, endorsements and candidate forums, updates on the policy fights that matter to LGBTQ+ Western New Yorkers, and stories from the people who make this community what it is.
